VOC Group Members are those employed Law Enforcement, Private Security Organizations and downtown Businesses (in the Security and Life Safety industry).
Society members who govern Vancouver Operation Cooperation do not include Law Enforcement or Government Agencies.
VOC Group Members meet on a monthly basis. Meeting Information will be displayed on the Event Calendar. The Board provides updates on Society information. Members share information pertaining to our purpose. Law Enforcement follows up on information requests and addresses our concerns, and a VPD Analyst attends to provide information on trends in our community.
Our website and regular meetings enable members to share and receive information in real time; ensuring our members are immediately aware of issues effecting the downtown core, allowing adjustments in resources and joint partnerships to occur.
Vancouver Operation Cooperation Society’s website is an online interactive tool that permits security professionals, law enforcements and business owners to share information relating to criminal activity, community events and activities (i.e. protests), and known and unknown chronic offenders in our community. This website has been designed and is in full compliance with British Columbia and Canadian Privacy Laws.
